Jim went to college to learn to be a web designer, he had always been interested in web design from a young age, he had designed several web sites but he liked designing a Chat Room web site the most and specialised in that area, many of the owners of the chat room web site would give Jim free access to the Web Site so he used to spend a lot of his time when he wasn't working chatting away in a chat room, he built up a large social network because of this and had many many friends online.

To begin with he was very sceptical of meeting new people and believing that people really were who they said they were in his social network but as time went by he did meet some really good friends and months after chatting to them he arranged to meet up with a couple of them.

He was very careful and arranged to meet up in a public area never would he go to someones house or invite them round to his, and he never travelled too farm from his home town, he kept within as one would say his comfort zone.

Jim was very lucky as the friends he had made in his Social Network that he met up with were who they said they were and he never had an embarrassing encounter where someone would turn up and look totally different than they did on their profile or not be the same age or sex.

He made one particular friend Tony who only lived 15 minutes down the road from him in the next town, they hit it off straight away and regularly met up to go out at the weekend, after about a year of being friends offline they decided they wanted to go on holiday a lads holiday abroad somewhere, they went to the travel agents and booked to go to the Costa Del sol for a week in July, the holiday came around pretty quickly and they had a fantastic time, they were so grateful for the chat room site as neither of them had had many friends growing up they had been too into their computers and both been known as geeks which they were far from just misunderstood but now they had both got what they wanted most a best friend.
