We have been looking forward to taking the children back to Florida on vacation. It’s been several years since we have been andthis time we are lettingthe two oldest children bring one friend along.I have been checking out the hot spots through On-line Search engines and I have found some interesting places I would like to visit. Thefirst On-Line search was for activities I knew the children would like and the areas we had talking about traveling to. Many of these activities are listed and a link to a group of hotels for the area. Another On-Line search of travel destinations came up with links but unfortunately they didn't have a website link to them only address and phone numbers. (No details) I logged into one group of travel companies with a user name of guest and found out most offer wifi during our stay and that is encouraging. However the next group had a much better Web Design. This one offered a link for past guest to rate their stay and even a link to add comments about it. This was very helpful in deciding where we would stay and the kind of activities we could schedule for the children in that area. When my husband came home that evening we would sit down together and go over what I had found. The user name for these sites is almost always the word guest, but some of these hotels will have to be called so we can access their information. The net I guess always will have you use some type of user name because it is a requirementfor establishing the security protocols for that security program. The radio signal or wifi the hotels send out for guest use will also need a user name with a password. This is almost always a portal to a website and wifi is the most efferent way to use the net from your rooms. While staying in the hotel our security on our laptop will be there always to protect our information from anyone being able to get at bank information or security codes for our network as well. This isn’t that hard to setup if you take the time and do it right. Knowing all is protected while you’re out on vacation with the family makes it well worth that time.
