Meet Mindy, she is a professional web designer. She has designed many things on the world wide web. Her most famousweb design is on vacuum-cleaner.com. One night, as Mindy was searching the world wide web for ideas, her server shut down. She was so mad that she called her Internet provider and asked them what was wrong. They said the server was down and wouldn't be back up for a few days, maybe weeks.

So, the web designer that she was, she complained and complained about her server connection. She needed the internet to design web pages. She decided that while she waited, she would just write down ideas for designing the pages. As she was thinking up ideas, she had the news on. As she listened, it said, "Breaking news just in, World Wide Web shut down until Servers back up." Mindy was an emotional wreck because she was a professional web designer and if people couldn't see her online work, then she might lose customers.

A few months later, Mindy was on her computer playing games. Then a pop up popped up and said that she was now connected to the web designing Internet connection. She thought this was just a dream because the Internet was down and nobody could get on it. Then she received a call from a professional web designing company saying that she was one lucky designer because web designers had to shut down the Internet so they could redo a ton of things. She could not believe that they chose her to help them redo the World Wide Web pages.

She felt guilty though because the whole world had no Internet and now it was because of her and a big huge company. But she wanted to redo many websites. Like Myspace, Tagged, myYearbook, etc. Then, a few weeks later, the web was turned back on and everybody was emailing her telling her that they loved the new designs on certain pages. She cried tears of joy because she was getting over thousands of emails a day just saying thanks. She did feel bad though for throwing a fit because of having no internet, she could only imagine how the other people felt when they had to wait forever to go back on it.
