I know we are in the computer age now, but whenI'm asked what a desktop is i will not be able to answer it properly. I can nottellthe difference between a notebook and the rest asallof itlooks like laptop computers to me. My brother who is into webdesign keep encouraging me to read more on computering.

I saw an advert on television one evening just after the news about a magazine which tells you some of the key words in computering. I called for one and I found it very useful i began to understand some of the terms being used in computering and decided to read more on webdesign on the internet. I was able to create an msn account which I was proud of and was able to chat with friends online for free. I was enjoying my new found knowledge in computering.After a month of reading on webdesign I taught I can try my hands on it with my own computer which i decided to do it on a weekend. Come Saturday morning,I was up around 7am. Did my washingand thehouse cleaning that needs to be done then sat behind my computer.I began to download information and step by step approach from different web sitethat I did not check for virus. I got up to make myself a cup of tea and whenI came back my computer was off. At firstI taughtI clicked ona button that has switched the computer off so i try to restart it nothing happened. I checked the wires and the plugs to see if any is not in properly then try to restart again nothing happened. I was getting a bit worried that i might have spoiltmy computer. Iwas able to get my brother in the following week to have a look. After several attemptswe decided to bring a professional in to have it checked. In theendI hadto buy a new computer asI had truly spoilt it.

It's been four months nowsinceI bought my new computer. I have been sticking to the basics. I'm much more careful with other websites whenI am on online.I'm happy to do my on-line bankingand go through my mails knowing they are secure sites. As for the social network,I'm giving it a pass and stickto my msn and my days of webdesign are over.
